Memory is infrastructure.
A living record of grantees, projects, and the ideas that shape our understanding of science, culture, and wonder.
About A Science Museum
Science, soul, memory, and wonder.
A Science Museum launched in August 2023 in Atlanta, studying the science of the peach through policy, agriculture, and cooking—in partnership with Axle Impact Studio and The Formula.
A Science Museum opens in 2030 as a new kind of institution: not a monument to certainty, but a home for wonder. We believe that discovery has never belonged to one civilization, one gender, one empire, or one kind of genius.
Our mission is to honor the many forms of intelligence that have shaped human understanding: the astronomer, the farmer, the metallurgist, the midwife, the weaver, the architect, the poet, the curator, the designer, the entrepreneur, the engineer, and the child who asked a better question.
Through grants, exhibitions, and public programming, we support visionaries working at the intersections of art, science, technology, ecology, and cultural memory. The future is not cold. It is living, emotional, unfinished, and deeply human.
